If you’re a fan of stir-fried noodles like I am, chances are you’ve already gravitated toward the Stir-Fried Jjamppong at PAIK’s NOODLE (Hong Kong Banjeom 0410). It’s my go-to menu item every time I visit—and for good reason.

Stir-Fried Jjamppong (Bokkeum Jjamppong)
  • Price: 9,000 KRW (as of August 2024)
The noodles were chewy with a nice wok-fired flavor, and the vegetables were perfectly stir-fried—soft but still crisp. The spice level was moderate, making it a good fit for a wide range of palates.

And, with soupy jjamppong, I often end up just picking out the noodles and leaving the rest. But with the stir-fried version, I naturally ended up eating all the vegetables too, which made the meal feel more filling.

Considering today’s rising food prices, this was a budget-friendly and deeply satisfying meal. I’ll definitely keep coming back for it.
