Rainy days always make me crave jjamppong, the spicy seafood noodle soup. But going out in the rain? Not ideal. That’s when I reach into the freezer for a ready-to-cook meal kit. Today, I’m introducing Chef Lee Yeon-bok’s Mokran Jjamppong (Mild).

This product comes in two versions: Original and Mild. The mild one isn’t spicy, making it perfect for anyone who prefers a gentler flavor.

Taste & Impressions

I was surprised by how flavorful the first bite was. Despite being labeled “mild,” the broth was deep, savory, and slightly spicy with a clean finish. It came packed with seafood and other ingredients, so I didn’t feel the need to add anything extra.

Honestly, it tasted just as good as what you’d get at a restaurant.

Next time, I’ll definitely try the spicy version too!
