Made with high-protein canned tuna and sweet sautéed onions, it’s a quick and nutritious dish perfect for lunch, dinner, or even a late-night snack. Best of all? You can whip it up in just 15 minutes using an air fryer—no oven necessary.

Tuna and Onion Pizza

Ingredients (1 serving)

  • 1 8-inch tortilla
  • 1 can of tuna (100g)
  • 50g onion
  • 5 tbsp tomato sauce
  • 50g shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • A pinch of black pepper
  • Parsley for garnish (optional)

How to Make

1. Drain the Tuna 

Place the canned tuna in a strainer and press lightly to remove excess oil or water.

2. Prepare the Onion 

Thinly slice the onion into strips.

3. Sauté the Onion and Garlic

Heat 2 teaspoons of olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sliced onion. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant and slightly softened.

4. Cook the Topping

Add tomato sauce, tuna, and a pinch of black pepper to the pan. Stir everything together and cook for another minute.

5. Assemble the Pizza 

Lay the tortilla flat and spread the cooked topping evenly over it.

6. Add Cheese and Air Fry

Sprinkle a generous amount of shredded mozzarella on top. Cook in a preheated air fryer at 180°C (355°F) for 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted and golden.
