I enjoyed my cold soba noodles so much yesterday that I made the same dish again today—telling myself I needed to use up the leftover buckwheat noodles!

Ottogi Soba Sauce

Ottogi Soba Sauce Concentrate

Product Info

  • Name: Ottogi Soba Sauce (메밀소바장국)
  • Type: 4x Concentrated Liquid
  • Serving Size: Enough for around 10 servings
  • Dilution Ratio (for dipping): 1 part sauce to 3 parts water → I found that 30ml of the concentrate + 90ml of water creates the perfect flavor.
Tip: Use a measuring cup or kitchen scale to get the ratio just right.

Ottogi Soba Sauce

While boiling the buckwheat noodles, I prepped the toppings—grated radish, chopped scallions, wasabi, seaweed, and sesame seeds

And here’s the final touch! Adding just a few drops of sesame oil to the finished dipping sauce brings out a nutty aroma that makes everything taste even better.

Cold Soba

Thanks to this sauce, I was able to enjoy authentic soba at home with no fuss. Honestly, I’m wondering why I didn’t try this sooner. It’s simple to prepare, great even when I have no appetite, and definitely something I’ll be keeping in my fridge from now on.
