Ingredients (for 1 serving)

  • 1/4 onion (about 40g)
  • 1 cup canned corn (140g), drained
  • 5 chicken nuggets
  • 50g shredded mozzarella cheese
  • A little cooking oil
  • A pinch of parsley

Seasoning

  • 4 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

1. Prepare the ingredients

Finely chop the onion and drain the canned corn well.

In a mixing bowl, combine the onion, corn, mayonnaise, sugar, salt, and pepper.

Mix well and spread evenly on the bottom of a heat-resistant bowl or baking dish.

3. Cook the chicken nuggets

Pan-fry the nuggets with a little oil over medium heat until golden brown, or air-fry them at 180°C (355°F) for 7 minutes.

4. Combine everything

Place the cooked nuggets on top of the corn mixture. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese generously over the top.

5. Microwave and finish

Microwave for about 3 minutes, until the cheese is fully melted. Sprinkle a bit of parsley for garnish.

Cooking Tips

  • If you like a little heat, drizzle some hot sauce or sprinkle chili flakes. 
  • You can also substitute mozzarella with cheddar for a richer flavor.
