After exploring the Udusan Y-shaped Suspension Bridge, I found a cozy little spot nearby called Café Daon. At first, I thought it was just a coffee and dessert café, but to my surprise—they serve pork cutlets (donkatsu) too!

Daon Café

It’s conveniently located right by the shuttle bus stop after coming down from the bridge, so it’s easy to find.

Deungshim Donkatsu(Sirloin pork cutlet)

There’s only one main dish on the menu—pork cutlet. It might sound limiting, but I actually loved that I didn’t have to spend time deciding what to eat. Orders are prepaid at the counter, and when your pager buzzes, you pick up your meal yourself.

The set meal includes a fresh cabbage salad topped with tangy yuzu dressing, which adds a refreshing contrast to the fried pork. The pork cutlet itself was perfectly fried—crispy on the outside and tender inside, served warm and satisfying.

They also serve young radish kimchi (yeolmu-kimchi) on the side. It worked well together. The clean, slightly spicy flavor balanced the richness of the fried cutlet beautifully. The portion size was generous, and it made for a filling and hearty meal after the hike.
